The DeWitt Community Library near Syracuse, New York has done a blend of the two. When they moved into their new location they arranged the collection by subjects like the bookstores (e.g. Psychology, Self Help & Philosophy, current events.) Then within each section the books are in Dewey order.

Subject: [Publib] Dewey-less Libraries

Hi--

For a project that I am working on, I would like to update my list of libraries that have adapted the "bookstore" BISAC model
and eliminated Dewey. Of course, I am aware of the Maricopa AZ County Libraries.

You can either respond to me off or on list.

Thanks,
--Allan
