When a person signs up for a library card, a regular size and keychain
size card are issued at the same time. (They come in a perforated
plastic format) Our self checkout machine doesn't have a card reader.
Patrons must scan their card underneath the scanner at time of checkout.

We used to have card machines for prepaid copy cards for print/copy
machines and it was common for someone to insert the wrong card in.
Sometimes we'd have to use tweezers get the card out.
