Dear Colleagues,
I apologize if someone has already mentioned "Librarians in the movies:
An annotated filmography" at
http://emp.byui.edu/raishm/films/introduction.html
This filmography groups movies into four categories.
A. Someone clearly identified as a librarian. (175 films)
B. A library is used for research, for study, to meet someone or for
some other purpose, but librarians are not clearly identified. (150 films)
C. No librarian or library is shown, only mentioned or referred to in
passing. (50 films)
D. In most cases someone is listed in the credits as "librarian," but
the compiler has not seen the movie or read a review with enough
information to categorize the movie in an above group. (175 films)
