1) $100/station computers and the ability to persuade the public and
the staff that OpenOffice.org is more than adequate for everyone's
needs.
2) The perfect user interface to the OPAC--all things to all people.
For the technophiles, it has all the best features of Google, Amazon,
LibraryThing, OCLC, and SOPAC 2.0. For the technophobic or the
sentimental, it offers a virtual reality card catalog with drawers
that open and cards that you can flip through. Just like the old days,
except you have to wear these special glasses.
3) A seamless integration of my library's holdings, our consortium's
holdings, the state-wide catalog, OCLC, the Internet Archive, and
Google Books, with a "show me more/fewer options" feature.
