[Publib] 3 wishes

[Denise Johnson]

Quickly--off the top of my head--
 
1. Salaries truly reflected our training, skills and worth. (And that teachers would stop telling us and the rest of the world how hard they work and how underpaid they are. Many of my professional librarians would love to be underpaid at that salary with equal education and year's experience.)
 
2.  That people who have never been in a library would try us out and discover what a bargain we are. (Yes, more are coming in as the economy gets tighter.)
 
3.  That our governing body didn't always want to balance a declining budget on our shoulders. Give another department the honor this time.
