[Publib] Position question

Dear Collective Brain,
 
Our library currently receives IT support from our city. We have been discussing hiring a person who can be our IT support for both of our branch libraries. We are looking for a person who understands the needs of libraries, but also understands technology. I believe I have seen other libraries that have positions such as "Library Technology Specialist" or something like that. If anyone out there has a position such as what I have described, can you send me more information? Job description, pros/cons, and salary range would be very helpful. Between our two libraries we will have almost 100 computers, a website, ILS and miscellaneous peripheral equipment to support. In addition we hope that this person can provide patron assistance and even teach a class or two.
