Elisa,It was a good thread so I didn't mind at all. I know the library that
Jim Casey referred to- they did state the residency requirement in the ad,
which kept some people from applying. They ended up with a great director
who was more than thrilled to move back to the suburbs.
I actually resigned my position recently for a position at another library.
I'll be commuting 20 minutes. (Short commute I know, but 20 times my current
one. :-) ) One board member is interested in finding someone local to
replace me. I'm interested in helping the board find the best candidate for
the position.
