I've always wished I could bring my dogs to work, but it just wouldn't work -- I think there 
would be too many potty breaks....

However, my favorite line from the children's Wishbone series (the Jack Russell who 
participates in sort of reinactments of famous literature and "speaks" in his mind what he is 
thinking) came from the episode where his owner Joe & friend have brought Wishbone into 
the library.  Joe's mom is the librarian and she admonishes Joe that there are no dogs 
allowed in the library.  Wishbone says/thinks, "Hummph! And they wonder why dogs never 
learned to read."
