Perhaps I'm jaded by my school experience and the fact that I'm not a little
dog person.
We had parents who come in with their toy poodles, birds, etc., in bags. We
had to stop it after one dog bit the ear of a child when she was simply
standing next to the "doggy bag" at the office counter. Our classroom aides
were often nipped at during car line as they opened car doors for the
smaller children.

We have found that a library is not an end in itself, but a means to many
ends.

Avery,
I COULD NOT agree more!!!
We have drug use in our bathrooms, skateboarders outside the doors, people
who haven't bathed in Idon'tknowhowlong and the list goes on and on - but
God forbid someone should walk in with a Chihuahua in a bag.
LOL!
