[Publib] Books for the Homebound

Everyone,
 
In these times of staff cuts, etc. we are looking at better ways to deliver books to the Homebound. Someone was telling me that they thought the Post Office would deliver books to the Homebound for the cost of delivery bags. Does anyone know about this service? I have searched the usps.com site to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
