[Publib] ?cel phones as only phones

If they make the choice (like I have) to only have a mobile phone, then they don't make a distinction between home/cell. I don't worry about minutes charged against me when my doctor, my dentist my attorney or my library calls me because my phone is my phone. Makes no matter to me who calls it -the choice I made to have only one line for everything is what it is. If I recognize the number or the person (gotta love caller ID), I answer one way. If I don't, I answer another (because it is personal, work, home, 2nd job, etc.). I know many people who are this way.
What we need to be aware of is that the phone notification systems sometimes have problems calling cell numbers. We're doing a big push to get as many people as possible signed up for email notification instead of phone because they may not get their notification if all they have is a cell.

Subject: [Publib] ?cel phones as only phones
Folks,
Has anyone thought about people who have cel phones as their only phone
and how/if we should make that distinction in our patron databases?
