As far as I know it really is okay to have these on the shelf. I
attended at one day session on "determining the value of used books"
about a year ago. It says "no sale" on them, not "no loan".  I would
think since they were donated rather than sold to your library, and your
library does not plan to sell them, you can let people borrow them.
