Provides excellent customer service in a team environment at a busy urban library. Supervises Main Library circulation, reference, readers' advisory, children’s, and young adult services staff. Performs professional and administrative library work according to the library's strategic plan. Develops proactive relationships with community organizations. Serves on the library's Leadership Council and Public Service Council; rotation to one of DCL's four regional libraries expected within three to four years.

Work is performed with independence under the supervision of the Deputy Director. Requires ALA/MLS, at least four years library experience, preferably in a supervisory role, and the ability to work pleasantly and effectively with people of all ages.
