When I was a kid, we used to take the political lawn signs from front yards  
and move them to different houses.  Sometimes we'd put them on the lawn of  
the nearby church, or at the mortuary.  Some folks drove around for a long  time 
not knowing they had a cardboard campaign sign stuck in the rear bumper of  
their car.  
 
I saw the first McCain sign today on my block.  It is right across the  
street from an Obama sign; that person also has a "No on Proposition 8" sign  
displayed.  It would not take more than a couple beers for me to make the  switch . 
. . . say, if your sign gets switched, does it change your  registration?
