"What's in a name?"

Our Official Name is the "Village Library" - although within our own library
system we are often called the Morgantown Public Library or Morgantown
Village Library. We expanded our name to The Village Library of Morgantown
when we began experiencing ILL errors - it seems that there is also a
Village Library in Jacobus PA - we are two of a hundred I am sure - and we
began receiving their Ill's and they received ours.

We now use The Village Library of Morgantown on all official correspondence,
id labels, etc. and it seems to have cleared up the issue. Our new logo even
has the long name in it.

So I guess the only difficulties I would see are:
1 - some people will always refer to you by the town you are in
2 - make sure you are the only one in your area/state with that name
