Greetings--
I think that some of you are aware that the Old Bridge (NJ) has been doing video gaming using the Wii with our older adults for almost a year.? The Library Technology Reports issue of April 2007, has a detailed report on our "adventures."
But I'd like to hear from you!? I am trying to identify other libraries around the country that are doing the same with the baby boomers, older adults and the elderly.
If you are, can you please send me you name, library, and website, etc. I will try and correspond with you by e-mail and then hope to follow-up with a telephone call.
Currently I am participating with ALA as a member of the GamingExperts group and the information that you provide to me will be shared with the library community in several ways.
Maybe we need a conference program at ALA? What do you think?
Please either reply to the list or you can e-mail me at:? amkleiman1 at aol.com.
Thanks,
--Allan
