[Publib] I believe that I am to blame

I believe that I was the first one to say that Sunshine Hydrox cookies
were--in my humble opinion--superior to Oreos. I feel the need to
claim a first in something. G/god knows I've been behind in nearly
everything lately, including reading publib, so I am grasping at
straws. As it were. I am most disappointed that I have NOT been able
to find them in Greater Peoria--Hydrox cookies, I mean--but then,
perhaps I do not shop often enough at Wal-Mart. Also sorry to see
that Joe is taking himself off to blog-land. So many blogs, who has
time to read? Joe, I had to give up opera-l, with great regret, as
there just weren't enough minutes in the day. How can I squeeze in
your blog? Of course, if my aged and failing parents-in-law would
stop going in and out of the hospital, nursing homes, requiring hours
of attention, et al., I might actually have time to get in touch with
reality. But wait: Aging parents-in-law ARE reality. It's a sobering
thought to think that I'm only 25 years younger than they are. Life
is too short to be hopelessly serious. (Of course, I write this as
the one who was accused, off list, of having "minions" of flippant
people at my command, mucking around with publib when I/we should have
been working.)
Hmmmm...I think I need to head off for Wal-Mart NOW.
