I am mostly a lurker on the list hoping to be a librarian one day when I
retire from being a rural school principal. I am writing to ask about a
reference book I used to have as part of a college course back in the early
70s. It was a guide to fiction books for kids that had different problems,
mental, emotional, physical, situational. The organization of the book was
terrific as you could look up books say for 8 year old girls who were
embarrassed to wear their new glasses. Books were well described and if I
recall correctly, excerpts were provided. Anyhow, I am looking for an
updated version of this or an online version. Can anyone direct me? Thanks.
