Or tell them, "Can you hold for a minute?"  Don't let them reply, just put the phone down.  After five minutes, go back, and if they're still there, say, "Oop, hold on please."  They're on a very tight time/money production schedule, so don't want to wait.  They will hang up.

Of course, this depends on how long you can keep your phone tied up.  But it is very effective at preventing repeat calls.
