Hi all,

I am looking in to possibly putting homework computers in my youth
area.  The internet policy we currently have requires filtering so
that mean that for kids to use them they would have to have their
library card and pin number.  I have heard from a lot of our kids that
not many of them seem to have access to their cards all the time and
many are not sure about their pin number.  I was hoping for the
computer to not need a library card to log in but just be open for
them to sit down and use.  We are using Envision Ware now.

Do any of you have computer specified for homework use?  If so how do
you set up filtering?  Do you filter?  Could you please share your
interent policies with me, so that i may compare it to ours and to see
how other libraries are handling filtering issues.
