Recruiters kept calling for my son - WHILE HE WAS DEPLOYED. Mike is in the
Guard and was busy driving a Humvee around Iraq and we kept getting called
by the Army. To deal with the mail, I finally signed him up for a
recruiting call and free tee shirt, giving his address in Iraq. The Army
sent him the shirt! For the calls, I reminded them that the last thing the
family of a deployed soldier wants to see on caller ID is US ARMY. Scared
the **** out of me the first time it happened.

Most of the time I try to be polite and short - after all, no one plans to
end up cold calling for a living. Set them free and let them try to make a
living elsewhere.

Odd to have Possible scam / IRS tax forms sharing space on my digests -
just sayin.
