Welcome, Sue. (waving at you from across the Strait)

I'm not presently in a public library, but PubLib was my earliest 
home on the Net and I've been hanging out here since our original 
list co-mom, Jean Polly, mentioned it in her "Surfing the Internet" 
article (she gets credit for the phrase!) in Wilson Library Bulletin, 
in something like 1992.

Publib librarians go on doing their good work, and helping each other 
out online, lo these many years later. Rarely silly, and almost never 
ill-tempered. You'll like it here.
