[Publib] best reference question ever

OK, this one is old, but I still get a chuckle...

I was working in a small academic library, this was back when the Internet was very much NEW and Mosaic was the browser of choice. A student was looking for a letter that Ben Franklin wrote on the topic of flatulence - not only was I able to find her the letter, I also provided her with a rendering of the chemical compound for flatulence! I impressed myself but she was THRILLED! She told me later it made her presentation!

We had someone call in and ask how much Halloween candy she should buy.

After we explained that we could not project this and hung up, we joked
about how we could have done a demographic analysis of her neighborhood
coupled with crime statistics and weather conditions to project the
number of trick-or-treators she could expect.
