PJ, I'm curious. How did the rest of that conversation go?
My story, which happened in the past week: A young woman was looking for
a romance novel.
Any particular book or author? Nope.
Any particular subgenre: paranormal, modern, historical, etc.? Nope.
Can you tell me about a romance you enjoyed? She liked this one book,
but didn't remember the title, author, or what it was about.
I gave up and showed her books by Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb, who writes a
bit of everything. She seemed happy.

A young man approached me at the reference desk several years ago and
asked if I could help identify a gun and locate ammunition for it. It
was already loaded.
