[Publib] best reference question ever

A long time favorite from about 14 years ago was the phone call from the
patron asking, "when, where and under what circumstances did they first put
jingle bells on horse reins", Well all righty then.
Also from when I worked at a medical library - I had an extremely muscle
bound patron walk up to the ref desk with small broken glass ampule with an
even smaller label in Russian, asking if I could translate it and tell him
what it is as his brother injected himself with the substance and is now
ill, didn't want to tell the doctor as it is some sort of illegal substance
- tried to encourage him that his brother's health was worth the risk -
yikes - actually still kind of freaks me out but was glad we learned the
Cyrillic alphabet in Library School.

Some pre holiday humor for y'all. I just had a patron ask me for a
list of all our informational books. I giggled.
