[Publib] Replacement batteries for laptops

Our Dell Latitude laptop batteries have expired and replacements from Dell
are about $135.00.  Prices for compatibles are quite a bit lower but I'm
wondering about quality. I started at this library in July. When they
decided to replace desktops with laptops last year, they didn't budget for
yearly battery replacements for 11 computers.  Of course, the on-line ads
for compatibles make some of the batteries sound better than the original
Dells!  If any of you have had success with compatibles, I'd love to hear.
