[Publib] The Day After

The day after...
I woke up a little anxious and worried for the future. My fiancé wants to move Denmark, but I know in my heart that I cannot and will not leave my country. I will stay and fight for the truths I believe in. Whatever mistakes Obama makes or socialism he achieves, I have faith that my country will endure. My countrymen will hopefully fight to "keep the republic" and hopefully remember that freedom is more important than security, and life is the most important right of all.
Congrats to Obama supporters, Courage to conservatives, and God's help to all of us.

`Got up this morning @ 5:30 am - made my vital cup of java & turned on the TV..
Then I opened up the back patio door & listened to the peacock family making their rounds to the pond. No primal scream here - just tears of joy ;-)
Barack Obama just accomplished what no one else has before - I have absolutely no doubts that he can deliver on what this country needs.

Interesting thought!
I am intrigued that the voter turnout rate is expected to be 85%. A trend for more participation in our democracy? Let's hope it continues.

I appreciate everyone's optimism that we will in fact have a president Wednesday morning. I have my doubts that vote counting will go that well. Am I the only one has this concern? I'm forecasting that we won't know who is president until November 11th.
Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe ABC, CBS, FOX NEWS, & all the other networks will call the election before the polls have closed...
