I am elated over this election.  Gives me that much more faith in our great
country, that after 8 years of - whatever this has been - we now have given
ourselves the opportunity to got it right.  In 1963 my parents told me that
if I went to the south to register voters, they would not continue to pay
for my college.  They're gone now and I can imagine what their reaction
would be.  Let us rejoice in how far we've come but not overlook how much
further we have to go.

`Got up this morning @ 5:30 am - made my vital cup of java & turned on the
TV..

Then I opened up the back patio door & listened to the peacock family making
their rounds to the pond. No primal scream here - just tears of joy ;-) 

Barack Obama just accomplished what no one else has before - I have
absolutely no doubts that he can deliver on what this country needs.

I appreciate everyone's optimism that we will in fact have a president
Wednesday morning.  I have my doubts that vote counting will go that well.
Am I the only one has this concern?  I'm forecasting that we won't know who
is president until November 11th.

Or maybe I'm wrong.  Maybe ABC, CBS, FOX NEWS, & all the other networks will
call the election before the polls have closed...
