Terry,

I second what Shahin Shoar recommended - we use EnvisionWare at my
library as well to handle paying for printing. We also use it for
managing sessions on our computers. I find the company and their
products of the highest quality. For printing, the system supports all
sorts of methods for payment, including e-Commerce. We currently have
coin-and-bill acceptors that accept cash for payment. I hope to set up
credit card payment in the future. It works very well, for the staff and
our customers.

Let me know if you need any further information.

       Karen

Subject: [Publib] Paying for computer printer copies

Hi,

The manager that is responsible for our Computer Lab asked me to ask
this question.

Right now, when someone wants to print something out, they buy a print
ticket at the Circulation Desk and use that to buy the print. They
wanted to know if there is any system that would make this a more
efficient system. Something like using a debit card or a vending card
to pay for prints. Any suggestions would be appreciated

If anyone wants to reply off list, e-mail me at twirick at erielibrary.org
<mailto:twirick at erielibrary.org> and I will summarize for the list.

Thanks in advance.

Terry
