I find it interesting that, while Out of Egypt was published almost 4 years ago - and with The Road to Cana published this year, it's her new autobiography that is getting so much attention. I've heard a lot of "Have you heard that Anne Rice is now a christian, and has firmly stated that she will not write the vampire books anymore?"
When I read the first "Christ the Lord" book, it was the first Rice novel that I had picked up in almost a decade... and I assumed that it would cause a big stink. I was surprised that it didn't, quite frankly.
