People under 14 may use the computers in the children's room or in our computer center. If theyre over 14, they can use the computers in our adult area.

I would also like to know how libraries are dealing with children who use the computers in the adult area of the library. Do you ask them to move to computers in the children's are or do they have access to the adult computers? If they are with a family group that includes adults also using the adult computers are they able to stay?

Thanks.

Dear Colleagues,

Can anyone share procedures on computer use for parents/caretakers in ladult computer centers? How/when does the computer center attendant/librarian approach the patron with the screaming child, especially when the staff member has received annoying looks from other computer users?

Thank you for your prompt response.
