My presentiments, exactly!
How many men want to be leaning over a car, only to say, "Oh, let me go look
this up on the internet?
No, no, no. They want *print* resources. We get them back with oily
fingerprints on them, but we know they've been opened up on the cars they're
working on and we're successful in providing them with what they need.
Is there anything else to say?

Remember, if you're working on a car (or a water heater or a
furnace), it's a lot more convenient not to have to go back to the
computer. I know. I've worked on all three with library manuals right at the
job. In two cases I was two hours from home in a basement with absolutely no
chance of Internet access. If you can find room, keep the books. I hope you
can
find room.
