[Publib] Express internet PCs

Hi,
We have two options for pc use - 1 hour and 30 mins. Most libraries (we
have 19 in our network) offer both, although the smaller community
libraries (of which I think this applies to 3 or 4) only offer 30 mins
access as they only have 2-3 computers for public use. In addition to
this we also have computers with no time limits, that do not require
accounts to operate, and only provide access to limited websites. These
computers are monitored closely after 3.30 when the school kids arrive,
and we tend to allow only 20mins if people are waiting. We occasionally
have issues with people waiting for computers, but do provide a booking
service that can help to limit this.

Subject: [Publib] Express internet PCs
Our library internet lab offers 12 stations with a one-hour time limit
per day. We get occasional requests for an "express" station with a
shorter time- limit (say 10 minutes) and less of a wait time. If others
would share their experiences in providing "express" internet service,
pros and cons, that would be helpful.
