Alison-
We have been conducting LTAI programs for almost seven years now. I
am program director and work with the NC Humanities Council and NC
Center for the Book to do the programs. LTAI is a great adult reading
and discussion program; the series are slowly being updated, but my
participants have proven to be great sports and have done just about
every series offered, including the science fiction one.
Through my contacts and experience with LTAI I have successfully
written other grants for other programs, found the courage and support
to conduct three County wide Community Reads, and have made many friends
for the library.
I recommend that you go for it! I'll be happy to help you if I can.
