A million thanks to everyone who contributed suggestions regarding my patron who wanted to trace an old aircraft. All of the leads were very helpful, but the Smithsonian library lead was the winner. Their service was OUTSTANDING. Today, I received in the mail a packet for my patron, not only tracing the aircraft - there were actually two - but also a list of former owners, specifications about the aircraft itself and the history of the aircraft in a separate article. It was awesome and I think my patron will be very happy. Thanks again!!!
