Please consider voting for Camila Alire for ALA President.  I've known of Camila for some time but had a chance to meet her and get to know her during this week's Public Library Association conference.  Among other things, Camila would be ALA's first Latina President.  I know that in my Durham, North Carolina community of 260,000 people, we are not yet doing a great job reaching our 31,000 Spanish-speaking residents.  I believe Camila's work as REFORMA President will strongly undergird her advocacy for this important and underserved part of our communities throughout America.
