[Publib] "Old" librarian

I'm 43 and took my first computer programming class in high school. My
dad who is 64 bought his first computer around the same time (early
1980's)and he and my mother who is 63 have owned and used computers ever
since.

My dad had an extensive library and he created his own computer based
cataloging system to organize his library (even tracking items he had
loaned to other people). As has been said several times now, technology
use/phobia has nothing to do with age.

"And some of us who are a bit older (55 years) have been growing with
computers and various computer related technology for years."
