We publish a database handout which we update every 6 months or so. These handouts are then strategically placed around the library - by the computers, at reference sections, at the issues and information desks. The handout lists all the databases available and a brief explanation of each database. Also provides instructions on how to access the databases either in the library, or at home via the library website.

Subject: [Publib] Point of Use Promotion of E-Databases to Print ReferenceUsers
We're beginning to explore ways to promote our reference databases to user of print reference at the point of use. Has anyone found or developed effective markers, signs, etc., to place within, above, or around the reference shelves or books to alert customers to the vast amount of information available in related subject databases?
Thanks so much.
