We have a seperate room known as the Aotearoa New Zealand Centre (ANZC) at the main branch of Christchurch City Libraries (New Zealand). It contains New Zealand publications, family history databases, church records, microfiche and an archive for very old NZ publications. It is an invaluable resource for people researching their genealogy. It is staffed by at least two people during the day, and one staff member in the evenings after 6pm. The staff all have extra knowledge in family history, in particular, how to access the various databases and church records. It is an extremely popular part of the library.

The Mission Viejo Public Library (Orange County, CA) has a genealogy room staffed by volunteers from the local genealogy organization. Here's their website: http://cmvl.org/libservices/genealogy.html
