We are considering starting a blog on the library's website. Before
doing this however we would like to know if it is something actually
worth the time and effort. For those libraries that have a blog(s), have
you had any patron/staff comments about it you would be willing to
share? If you have a way to track the number of hits to your blog(s),
what is your average in a year? Also, do any of you offer a book
discussion in the form of a blog? If so, have you found this a
successful way to offer a book discussion?

Lastly, on average, how many hours in a week does the maintenance of
your blog take?

If you can provide me with any tips for a successful blog, I would
appreciate it!

Thank you,

Lucy Roehrig
