Our library has not done (or considered doing) anything like that.
However, we do have the EBSCO Auto Repair Database and would consider
showcasing that. If you are set on doing an actual car repair workshop,
do you have a technical education program in your area that includes
auto repair? They would be perfect to team up with and it would avoid
the whole liability issue..

Hello,
Has anyone ever held a do-it-yourself car workshop showing how to change
tires, sparkplugs, etc. Just simple things. I'm envisioning a "Car
prices
got you economizing? We can show you . . . "
So, how have you dealt with people volunteering their cars or getting
people
to sign off that if they drop the tire on a foot, they won't sue? Any
thoughts?
