[Publib] PLA Advice

Read all the descriptions of sessions on the PLA website before you go.
Save yourself the agony of going into something you thought was
something else from the title alone and then having to try at the last
minute to pick something else. The handouts for most are online, so you
can even see if you already know pretty much what they're going to
cover.
Make secondary picks of sessions to attend in case the room is too full
to get into.
Make plenty of time to see the exhibits, and look over the list of
exhibitors ahead of time so you can find the ones you really want to be
sure to get to.
Last but not least: Wear comfortable shoes--you'll be doing a lot of
walking.

I am attending PLA this year and I have never been to a conference
before. Any advice?
