Years ago when I got out of college and went to work on a rural bookmobile,
the driver wore a watch on each wrist, He said one was for daylight savings
time, and one was for "God's time".
Actually, that fall he needed both--the state decided to allow every
community to decide when to go off daylight savings time and for about 6
weeks we had a wild juggling act with our bookmobile schedule, as none of
the 13 communities went off at the same time.
Sometimes the Good Old Days are just OLD.

Yes, I really love the extra hour in the fall and am happy to get one
every year, but I hate losing the hour in the spring. My ideal would to
only do the fall, but guess we can't have one without the other or
eventually at least for awhile we would be doing everything in the dark
: )
