I just recently found out about Better World Books. Make certain that your Friends read the fine print. BWB does not want book sale leftovers -- nothing that has already been "picked over." Since the biggest problem that my Friends group has is discarding the leftovers, BWB is not the answer. I do think BWB would work for libraries that don't have a Friends group or some other means of selling off discards.

A while back I posted a message asking for opinions
about online sources for selling and disposing of
discards/left over books from book sales.

Our Friends Group is now investigating the company
Better World Books for this purpose, has anyone had
experience in working with this company?

Are you using the service to sell books for a profit
or merely to recycle and dispose of left over book
sale items?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Mathew Bose
