I'll second Jamie's opinion of bland for CJ Critt as narrator for the Stephanie Plum novel. I love the series and have read them all in print, but a friend recently gushed about the narration of the audiobooks so I decided to give it a try. Looks like my friend's narrator was Lorelei King rather than CJ Critt and I am going to give the King version a try even though I was so disappointed by Critt.
I listen to a LOT of audiobooks while I commute to work or take trips alone in the car. The narrator makes a HUGE difference for me and I will turn something off rather than listen to a voice that does not appeal to me. Barbara Rosenblatt is probably my favorite; I will listen to anything she reads, even if I am not familiar with the author or the book.
