We are in Illinois. We get 11 paid holidays a year which we negotiate with the Board every year. Generally, what happens is we submit our request and they say ok. Ten holidays are pretty set. The 11th one gives us the flexibility. Two years ago we asked for July 3rd since the 4th was on a Tuesday. Last year we asked for Columbus Day. *************************
