[Publib] Amazon Kindle

I thought I saw this on publib, but have checked the archives and cannot come up with it.  I read somewhere that there was a copyright problem with libraries circulating the Kindle with pre-loaded books on it.  Has anyone else seen anything about this?  Thanks.
