Audiobooks on cassette still circulate well, both because of the 
older-car bit and the portability issue.  Rather than continuing to 
buy audiobooks on tape, we've gone to a leasing plan from Landmark 
Audiobooks  (www.landmarkaudio.com).  It's relatively inexpensive, 
and allows us to select new tapes and return old ones each 
quarter.  New titles but no additional self space -- what more could 
an underfunded and overcrowded library ask?
