[Publib] Flash drives

I have carried mine through several airports in my purse - where they are
scanned as I go through security. So far - no problems at all.

Does anyone know if airport security scanners are harmful to flash 
drives? I'm taking one to a job interview and I'd hate to lose 
everything I have on it.
