[Publib] audiobooks on cassette

Elizabeth,
For the reasons stated by someone else (sorry I don't remember who) that lived in a rural area with gravel roads, we do still add cassettes. We've greatly decreased the number though. I would think when we begin the process of moving to a new or expanded building we might rethink at that point. We're planning on going to referendum next spring so we're talking another few years at best.

Happy Friday from the rainsoaked Midwest! Please gather under the umbrella and let me know what you think about audiobooks on cassette. In particular:
Do you still collect new audiobooks in this format? Have you kept your existing cassette audiobook collection or have you chosen to withdraw this format entirely (and if so, when did you disband it)? If you continue to have such a collection, what's your rationale for keeping it? When do you anticipate not carrying cassette audiobook collection any longer?
